Rev. Kim L. Singletary answered the call to Ministry under the Pastorate of Rev. Dr. Floyd H. Flake at the Allen AME Church, Queens, NY in 1982, and the call to Pastoral Ministry in 1991.  She graduated the dual Master Degree program at Union Theological Seminary and Columbia University School of Social Work in 1997.  Rev. Kim successfully completed the Hofstra University Not-For-Profit Business Management Certification Program, the NYS Office of Real Property State Assessor Certification, and the Straight Ahead Ministries & Gordon Cromwell College program for Juvenile Justice Ministries Certification.

She is a woman of “firsts”.  The first woman to Pastor Payne AME Church, Chatham, N.Y., St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Rockville Center, L.I., the first woman Chaplain at the Burnham Interfaith Chapel, Canaan, N.Y., and the first woman and African American to serve as Sole Assessor in the City of Hudson.
